How does this calculator help me figure out my Overall Value (OV) rating?
OV ratings are not shared with employees, so the calculator works in reverse: you enter your expected total compensation, and the tool calculates where that amount falls within your role's pay range. It then shows the closest matching OV tier, helping you determine your rating.
What if I know my own pay range?
The calculator includes a "Custom range" option that lets you enter your own lower and upper range values. Use this if you have access to your actual pay band from internal tools, which will differ from the publicly sourced data used by default.
How accurate is the data on this site?
The pay band data is sourced from public forums and will not reflect the most current ranges. Pay bands are updated periodically, and role-specific or location-specific variations are not captured here. Use this tool as a general reference, not as a definitive source.
